- I come from an apostolic background....didn't really much grow up with any kind of religion. My mother is a Jehovah's Witness but she never really pushed that on us (surprisingly). I began to be curious about religion when I was 16 so I started reading the bible and found it quite intriquing. I was never big on reading so picking it up and down happened for about 8 years when I found a church that I liked and started getting more involved.
