Yehweh not Yahweh

Last updated Dec 20, 2011.

The Scriptures (TS) Bible version is an English Messianic literal translation. This translation differs significantly from most common English translations in that it has restored the original book order of the Hebrew Scriptures—and has used the Modern Jewish Hebrew letters יהוה for the Father's Name throughout. It also uses an almost accurate (five letter) name (that transliterates as I-E-U-SH-O, two Hebrew letters short of the maximum possible seven letter IEUESHUO) of the MaSHICH as יהושע—and a form of Modern Jewish Hebrew for personal names of people and places. It does not have helpful topic headings like some Bible versions, but overall it is one of the best Messianic translations. It is available in a range of formats—including a very useful free e-sword module for their 1998 versionDownload e-sword. Preview samples pages of their 2009 version.

I have this BIBLE it is pretty good as far a names go, but I still think we need something closer to original in all the text transliterated into English.
